Welcome to my psychology practice where you can learn about the services I provide to children, teens, adults and families. I am available for consultation to help you or your family address your mental health and happiness goals.

I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned through my years of experience in the therapy room and also what I know about the current research within the fields of positive psychology and developmental and clinical psychology. At the bottom of this page, you can find a selection of some recent articles and interviews to give you a sense of the work I do and where my professional interests lie.

The psychological services that I offer are evidence-based, compassionate and supportive while encouraging hope for Children, Teens, and Adults. My psychology practice offers counselling, treatment and consultation in the following areas:


Psychological Treatment And Counselling

Dr. Ferrari offers a warm and welcoming environment for all ages where she provides diagnostic assessments, counselling, treatment and consultation. She utilizes client goals and values while incorporating cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), family-centred, child-centred, humanistic, expressive therapy and positive psychology approaches.


Mental Health

Dr. Ferrari works with Children, Teens and Adults diagnosed with/or experiencing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, obsessions/compulsions, adjustment problems, and/or behavioural challenges.


Separation And Divorce

Dr. Ferrari has been working with families going through divorce providing comprehensive parenting plans; as well as post-divorce treatment interventions, collaborative divorce acting as a child specialist or divorce coach to help families with healthy dispute resolution process.

Dr. Ferrari uses child-centred approaches when working with families going through the divorce process. She focuses on protecting children from conflict, while assisting parents to minimize any negative emotional consequences or differences related to the children; and promote a caring, loving and involved relationship between the children and their parents.


Parent Consultation

Dr. Ferrari child and family-centered perspective is the basis of her family psychology practice. She values involving parents in the therapy process, so they can build upon their own strengths, strengthen attachment and enhance their parenting skills. Parent consultations include supporting parents with any parenting challenges they present.

Dr. Lisa Ferrari is a registered clinical psychologist who has been providing counselling and psychological services for over 18 years. In addition to her private practice, she has worked and interned in clinical settings such as child and youth mental health, non-profit child and family counselling centres and child-centred trauma counselling programs. She has also provided clinical supervision and training to professionals in the field.
